Above and Beyond PMBoK® - This year’s theme covers the questions which competencies successfull project managers need to develope and what other standards may help to archive project goals.
PMIFC 17.6.2012 -
Learning and applying the best practices from PMBoK (or any other project methodology) is certainly a good start for a junior project manager. But rapidly, he/she is confronted to the reality of people sensibility, industrial contexts, budget constraints, etc… The junior project manager has to develop then, in addition to the technical skills, new competences like leadership, charism, business acumen, empathy, …These competences can be clearly explained in training and/or books but require continuous development. During the PMI BeLux Day we will explore how these competences can be discovered and developed. What are the elements to consider for a self-evaluation and deciding what to develop next and how?
During the PMI BeLux Day the organizers invite experienced presenters (national and international) to respond to the theme and share their experience with the PMI BeLux audience. If you are interested to participate please find more information in the flyer.
